Gluing machine ВМ-12 is vertical hydraulic press and is designated for cold pressing of multilayer beam and lamella blockboard with max. length 12 meters and max. width 250 mm, inclusively.

Purpose and application

Gluing machine ВМ-12 is vertical hydraulic press and is designated for cold pressing of multilayer beam and lamella blockboard with max. length 12 meters and max. width 250 mm, inclusively.
Scope of application: manufacturing of laminated beam and blockboards on woodworking and construction enterprises.
Principle of gluing method includes applying of glue layer on lamella. Then placing on supports and lamella package aligning by means of hydraulic front clamp pressures are carried out. Such clamp pressures are travelled manually and disturbed evenly throughout the length of package.
After the package is pressed, its squeezing by vertical hydraulic cylinders is carried out.
Pressing period is set on control panel, after such period elapses, hydraulic cylinders are lifted.
Pressure in hydraulic system, depending on lamella width and timber species, is preliminary set in accordance with schedule. Setting of pressure is carried out by means of pressure sensors. Recommended pressure settings for fir and pine is 3 – 5 kgf/cm2, for birch and larch is 5 – 7 kgf/cm2, oak and beech is 7 – 9 kgf/cm2. Pressure is set on control panel in the range of 20…160 bar (2…16 МPa).
Holding time under pressure (gluing) is determined depending on used glue specifications.
